Welcome to the
Canadian Latvian Virtual Museum
LNAK is launching the Canadian Latvian Virtual Museum, a website aimed at sharing the stories of the Latvian community in Canada. The Museum is organized in thematic galleries featuring both images and narratives.
Invitation
LNAK invites you to join us in bringing this project to life. We are looking for photographs and stories that depict what life in Canada was like for the Latvian community.
Please have a look at your family photos for any images that reflect our life here in Canada. If you have pictures that reflect aspects of our community other than those outlined above, we will welcome them as well.
If you have material you would like to contribute that needs digitizing, please contact us, providing a brief description. We likewise invite you to share your stories. Sign up for an interview or share your story in writing—whatever works for you.
