Baltic Federation in Canada

The Baltic Federation in Canada (BFC) was founded in May 1949 as an umbrella organization for the central organizations of the three Baltic communities (Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia) in Canada.  It first goal was to organize a joint event to commemorate the Soviet deportations to Siberia of the Baltic peoples. The purpose of the BFC is to provide a link between the three Baltic communities in Canada and to represent, coordinate and defend the common interests of the Baltic states in Canada.
